Brighton and Beyond
So of course Fabien (colleague and friend at Collins Anderson) is going back to Australia while I am here in the UK. So in a rush we decided to meet up on Friday for a quick coffee in Brighton in between interviews. Even though brief, it was still great to catch up! The spontaneous trip to the seaside also enabled me to check out what Brighton has to offer. The weather was lovely, so I did a good deal of strolling around!
After my day at the beach I caught a train home, a 1hr journey took me 2.5 hours, welcome to London transport, replied George in response to my disgruntled text. Back in the city I went to a Cuban dance performance with Marg and Simon and then a sleep over at their place in Hackney.
The following morning we went to a little cafe specialising in Georgian breakfast, it was divine! The food was so tasty and plentiful counting as breakfast and lunch for that day.
On Sunday George and I went to a Russian Festival on the banks of the Thames. Unfortunately the line-up for Blinni was too long so we went to Spittle field where we had some awesome bangers and mash and a great coffee!
